An examination is only as strong as what it is checked against. TrueFrame maintains a curated index of rights-relevant entities — who owns what, what is protected, which law applies. The figures below are generated from the index itself at every release, never typed by hand.
Indexed entities
Registered trade marks, fictional characters, artworks, public figures and landmarks — each carrying a public identifier anyone can look up (a Wikidata QID or a registration number) and, where established, its rights holder or copyright status.
Countries and territories
Freedom of panorama and heritage protection assessed under each country's own law — never assumed. Where the law is unclear, the index says so and a reviewer looks.

Where our record and a public register independently agree on the rights holder. Each link carries a registration number anyone can look up. Drawn against 2,673,666 live registered trade marks.
Faces the engine can recognise
Public figures with a biometric reference built from a freely licensed photograph and confirmed by two independent models that must agree. Fewer than the indexed figures by design: a name in an index is not yet a face a machine can find in a frame.
A mark, not a technology.
The comparison is not with a software product but with the hallmark on a piece of silver: a mark applied by an identifiable party who accepts responsibility, according to published criteria, and who can be held to them. The certificate travels with the work — on any platform, anywhere, simultaneously. TrueFrame claims no exclusivity over any certified work.

Under signature
The author states, itemised and under signature, how the work was made. A false declaration is grounds for revocation.
Publicly, forever
Issuances, suspensions and revocations live in an append-only, hash-chained public record. Nothing is ever removed silently.

Signed declaration + automated screening with nothing contradicting it. On record — not published, no badge.
Verified
A named human reviewer examined every finding, evidence was produced, a decision was recorded. The portable, publishable mark.

The exact quote is computed by the register after upload, and the examination starts only when you confirm it. No charge ever happens without your explicit confirmation.
We expect to revoke.
A certification body that has never revoked anything is not a certification body; it is a sticker. Every certificate carries one of three states, and the record — including the ground and the date — stays public forever.
Valid
In force under the Standard version recorded inside the certificate. Never re-judged under a later version.
Suspended
Under review — the reason and date remain publicly visible.
Revoked
A false declaration or breach — the record stays, marked revoked.
Public, versioned, written before the first client.

Rules written before there are clients are rules written by someone with no incentive to bend them. Every change is versioned and logged. Nothing is removed silently.

We do not verify "the copyright" — no global registry of copyright exists, or can exist. We verify declared, authoritative sources (registered trade marks, commercial sound recordings, well-known protected characters, monuments) and we record the author's signed declaration, backed by contractual liability and the power of revocation. Where the law is unsettled, we flag and inform; we do not adjudicate.
